10 WELSH WATERS:


1. Wye and Usk waters:

37 river stretches available. We purchase tokens and have them at head office for members' use.

 

 

 

 


2. Lune, Ribble Hodder & Deansclugh:
Salmon, Sea & Brown Trout and Grayling.
We have a reciprocal rod swap agreement with Lancashire Fly Fishers giving access to beats on the Lune, Ribble Hodder river Irt and Deansclough reservoir.

 


 


3. Welsh Dee at Bangor-On-Dee:
Salmon, Brown Trout & Grayling.
Only accessible via a day ticket from post office in Bangor-on-Dee.

 

 

 


4. The River Mawddach:
Sea & Brown Trout and Salmon

Arguably the finest Sea Trout river in Wales, you can fish the lower beat’s of Dolgellau AA if you purchase a day ticket at Pughs Garage, 'the reed pool beat's the upper beat left bank looking upstream is water which has no cost accept membership of our syndicate, upper beat starting at the Tyn-y-Groes Hotel up to the first junction river on The left bank, stunning water which produced some superb Sea Trout and Salmon even in poor water last 2003 season.


5. River Alwen:
Salmon, Brown Trout & Grayling.
The River Alwen this river has Brown trout to 7lb in its small flow the fly life is staggering and it is a stalkers paradise, we have 6 miles of superb fishing comparable to any River Test, River Itchen, in size of fish, and clarity, has a huge Salmon run given water mid July on to end of season best fish in 2003 was 16.8lb on fly.
