Loch Calder Caithness:
Brown
Trout, Ferox & Char.
We have a ghillie called Jim Rosie on site you will
be able to fish Loch Hope and Loch Watten Jim can
arrange boats for members. Brown Trout, Ferox and
Char, we have mada a bid for 6 weeks on the River
Forss which will give us good spring salmon water on
this small river next to Loch Calder.

Lake Llyn Bwlch:
Wild Brown & Rainbow Trout.
This 5 acre lake has its
own bothy with comfy seats and barbecue.
Set in lovely scenery the owner
Bob Glynn has turned this lake into a superb fishery
all fish are over wintered stocked from 5-8 inches
after the initial stocking all fish are in superb
condition, barbless and a sport fishery, if you want
a wild brown to 10lb we have them here best rainbow
last season was 9lb full finned and a 100yds line
stripper. best brown was 14lb and both these fish
are still here.

River Dee below Cynwyd Bridge to junction of Alwen and
Lower River Alwen:
Salmon, Trout & Grayling.
The River Dee We will issue a hard copy map with
boundaries specified anything in Blue is not ours please
be
strict on this. The Alwen at Maerdy Hatchery if you walk
down the River Ceirw to the River Alwen Junction
roughly 50 Yards below the junction is the start of the
beat this runs for 3 miles downstream towards the Dee a
sign will be placed at the bottom boundary. You can fish
the lower beat on the Dee which is from the Corwen road
bridge down stream to the bend of the river the upper
beats are from the top of the Alwen Junction pool we
cannot fish the junction pool itself. All the way
upstream until you reach the Cynwyd Bridge both banks
(accept
the field looking downstream left hand bank 2 small
fields, then over the bridge both banks looking upstream
from the bridge or about 250 yd’s or top of beat is
where small stream joins the Dee. If unsure refer to the
map
provided.

Dry flies use Grey Duster, Grayling Bug, (like a Badger
except grey silver body) small brown sedges, Red Tag,
Blue olive, Grannoms early season April-May, for trout
supplement with Greenwells through season 14-16 patterns are sufficient. Salmon and Sea-trout Use Yellow
shrimp flies and black and silver style tubes and
trebles
small 12-14 do well you can fish at night for Seatrout
which is unusual for the Dee.
Wading permitted, no disabled access
What fish and recommended tackle:
Spin /Lure: after 16th of June only.
Fly fishing: Yes all species.
Tackle: Salmon, 14ft 10 weight fly rod sufficient.
Trout Grayling 9ft, 5-6 weight fly rod.

River Neath, South Wales at Neath:
Salmon, Brown Trout & Grayling.
We have 2 rods here and the beat is one long single 3 mile beat the lower section is tidal with two excellent pools, the long pool above this moves slowly and holds many sea-trout easy wading. Salmon from June onwards The top of the beat is a large pool which runs around to the left there is a white mark on the wall of the pool which is top of the beat. Bottom of beat is the end of the long sea pool past trees on left hand bank into an open field halfway down field is end.
Wading allowed dogs under control.
